We are Kim and Nicole, a mother-daughter duo with a shared passion for crafting that began in our childhood but took us on different journeys.

Kim discovered her love for sewing at 8 years old while aiming for her Girl Scout sewing badge. In 2011, she ventured into quilting and hasn't looked back since. In 2014, she combined her two passions by acquiring a computerized long-arm quilting machine, balancing her career as a database programmer with her quilting enthusiasm.

Nicole began her crafting journey at age 6 when her grandma taught her to knit. Although she didn't stick with knitting, she transitioned to crochet, learning from YouTube—where her generation learns everything. Along the way, she also explored counted cross stitch. Nicole is basically all about crafting by hand but recently she is exploring using a machine and is teaching herself to machine embroider.

Note: Those of you who have known us for sometime and know Nicole as Ashley. It is what I named her and what I call her. But at a workplace there were already 2 other Ashley's so she started going by her middle name and she liked it and it stuck. She will answer to either name.
